By using the Service, including creating or using an Account or interacting with the chatbot, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

When you interact with the Service—including logging in, viewing devotional content, navigating the app, or using the chatbot—AskBible may collect, store, log, analyze, and review:

• Your chatbot messages, prompts, questions, and responses;
• All devotional content interactions, selections, and reading behavior;
• Usage history, timestamps, click paths, and engagement metrics;
• Account activity associated with your login and authentication events;
• System events, error logs, and technical metadata.

AskBible may use this information to:

• Provide you with responses and content;
• Improve the quality, accuracy, and safety of responses;
• Personalize and refine your experience within the Service;
• Develop and refine models, algorithms, and related features;
• Monitor for abuse, spam, or Terms violations;
• Produce analytics, reports, and insights for internal use;

• Any future unspecified lawful purposes determined by AskBible in its sole discretion.

Some or all of this processing may be performed using the LatticeTalk AI platform operated by LatticeTalk Inc. AskBible remains responsible for how your data is used within the Service. LatticeTalk Inc. provides underlying AI infrastructure and does not control how AskBible collects or uses your data and is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Consent: where you have given us consent to process your data for one or more specific purposes (e.g., certain optional features or communications);

We may share de-identified or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify you personally for any lawful purpose.

6. Advertising and Analytics

We may use analytics services to help us understand how users interact with the Service. These services may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and usage information.

If we display advertising within the Service, we may work with advertising partners who use cookies, mobile ad identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads. 8A. Retention of Interaction Logs

AskBible may retain full logs of user interactions, including chatbot history, account logins, usage analytics, and other data collected through the Service, for as long as AskBible determines is reasonably necessary for operational, analytical, developmental, fundraising, legal, or future unspecified purposes.

AskBible may retain de-identified or aggregated forms of such data indefinitely.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.

Some processing of user interactions, including chatbot processing, may occur on or through the LatticeTalk AI platform operated by LatticeTalk Inc. AskBible remains responsible for the use of your data within the Service. LatticeTalk Inc. acts as an infrastructure provider and is not responsible for AskBible’s collection or use of your personal information.

Where required by law, we take appropriate measures to protect international transfers of personal data, such as implementing standard contractual clauses or relying on other lawful transfer mechanisms.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their privacy policies and terms.

The Service uses the LatticeTalk AI platform for AI processing. LatticeTalk Inc. does not control AskBible’s data collection practices, content, or user interactions and is not responsible or liable for any outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes means you accept the updated Policy.
